If you are looking for a dark and steamy fantasy reverse harem the you gotta check out No Alpha by G Bailey。 This is a revamp of her original book by the same title， except Bailey has made some major changes and added to it making it a whole new story。 I didn't read it the first time but I'm sure glad I read this one。 Dude， this book blew kinda blew my mind。 The world is dark and brutal and gives off great fantasy vibes with only four wolf packs in existence。 The Luxa pack， the Xan pack， the Rux If you are looking for a dark and steamy fantasy reverse harem the you gotta check out No Alpha by G Bailey。 This is a revamp of her original book by the same title， except Bailey has made some major changes and added to it making it a whole new story。 I didn't read it the first time but I'm sure glad I read this one。 Dude， this book blew kinda blew my mind。 The world is dark and brutal and gives off great fantasy vibes with only four wolf packs in existence。 The Luxa pack， the Xan pack， the Ruxsan pack， and the Dawn pack。 Women are treated horribly in all the packs except for one， there are slaves， child abuse， brutal killings， and so much more。The fmc Elodie Masters is a slave to her pack but while her circumstances could have turned other people's heart black as night， making them mean and bitter， with a cruel heart， it did the opposite to her。 Elodie is kind， caring， respectful， thoughtful， overall good with the biggest heart。 While she does change throughout this book it's for the better。 She keeps those same qualities but manages to find her place in this harsh world and grow stronger。 In El's harem， there are three brothers， the alpha brothers。 Alaric， Alpha （I not a fan of the name）， and Letric come into El's life under dubious circumstances and there is a little hint at dubcon but turns into consent later。 I didn't like the brothers at first， they are just as broken as El but they are a whole lot darker and do some pretty messed up stuff。 However， they adventually grew on me， Alaric and Letric more than Alpha。 Of course I could see this relationship was a dumpster fire straight from the beginning so it was no suprise that things were messed up for a while but adventually lead to a HEA， I really enjoyed the epilogue。As for the story it was great。 Bailey's version of claimed mates and wolf traditions was certainly unique。 She also showed the brutal side to shifters which was made more explosive in a fantasy setting。 The world building was good and the plot held a few plot twists that gave me all the drama of a fantasy book。 I didn't see the twist coming and the pack drama that ensued and the brutal alliances all made for an entertaining read。No Alpha is the first book I've read by Bailey and I will be coming back for more。 。。。more
